Editorial Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-15

This policy explains how Allergy Relief Guide researches, writes, and maintains its articles.

How articles are produced

Each article starts from a defined topic and the practical question readers are usually trying to answer, then is researched against publicly available guidance from health authorities such as the CDC, NIH/NIAID, MedlinePlus, AAAAI, and ACAAI, and other recognized medical institutions.

Articles are written in plain language for a general audience and are structured around the practical questions readers usually have: what a symptom or condition is, what commonly causes or triggers it, how it is typically diagnosed or treated, and when professional or emergency care is appropriate.

What we do not do

We do not fabricate statistics, clinical studies, expert quotations, or patient stories. We do not present a single template's boilerplate text as if it were unique, page-specific research. We do not recommend a specific medication or dosage for an individual reader.

Ongoing improvement

This site is under active development. Some articles are more complete than others; pages that still rely on general template content rather than fully researched, page-specific detail are being prioritized for expansion. See our Content Update Policy for how we track and prioritize that work.
